Catskill Craftsmen manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily Northern Yellow Birch. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. This is a classic catskill design with butcher block top and large drawer. The drop leaf almost doubles the work surface. This cart comes with a spice rack, towel bar and adjustable interior shelves. The wheels are locking caster and the hardware is nickel plated. It is made from sustainably harvested domestic hardwood, is ready to assemble and is made in the USA.

Made in the U.S. and great quality! Beautiful, sturdy, and functional. Be careful with the butcher block top, can stain (have coffee ring on mine).

This came when promised and all of the pieces were there and in great condition. The island is exactly what I was wanting. The wood is beautiful and the island looks great in my kitchen. There was space for everything I had hoped to put inside it and even a little extra space. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I spent a lot of time, before putting this together, separating all of the screws, nuts, bolts, etc. into separate little self seal baggies which I labeled according to size and number. I also took all of the pieces out of the box and made sure everything was there and in good condition before I started. It is best to follow the directions in the exact order in which they are given. If you don't you might have problems. This is a strong and very good looking piece of furniture. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the island to others.
