I ordered this unit from Amazon and it was delivered nine days later in three large boxes. Everything is double boxed, with Styrofoam inserts and padding, then EVERY piece is protected in a custom fitted bag. I think it took longer to unpack the parts then to assemble them. Be prepared to dispose of a large amount of packing material.Every part is clearly labeled. Just follow the directions. I had few problems and assembled the unit in three hours by myself. I had the solid cherry top. Unlike some review for the "distressed top", the paint and wood components had a uniformly good quality. The white base was indeed white. The only trouble I had was a couple of cam locks I could just not make-work. I was surprised that the assembled parts, even the doors, fit together so well on the first try.The unit looks great and provides a good amount of extra storage space. The drop leaf works well. It is held up by two wooded bars then extends out and hit a wooded wedge. This is good. It provides for a tight fit and should self adjust if there is any wear. The exterior parts are real wood. The interior shelves and drawers are some sort of high-density fiberboard.Overall this was a good purchase. It looks great.

the only thing they could improve on is identify front of base. I had to do it twice ,because they did not mark as front. If you put it on bace backward the door will not fit. Other then that it went together really easy.
