Constructed from durable, easy to clean, stain resistant, laminated wood composites our cabinet incorporates a solid hardwood cutting board top that measures 36" wide x 18" deep. Carve, with confidence the largest turkey, slab of beef or rack of lamb. Slice, dice or julienne fresh fruit and vegetables...like a pro. Unique design incorporates a storage compartment for food scraps or other refuse. Holds a standard 10 gallon (41.25 qt.) size waste basket (not included).Rubbermaid Model # 2957 is a good choice. Compartment size for waste bin measures 19.875" high x 11" wide x 15.25" deep. We increased this cabinets versatility by adding 3 pantry shelves and a paper towel holder in the rear. In addition there are now 3 roomy open shelves ( 15½" deep x 13" wide) for pots, pans or whatever else you want to keep at the ready. Hidden casters behind real hardwood skirt offer smooth and easy mobility. Measures 35" high x 35" wide x 18" deep and weighs 75 lbs. Shipping weight is 85 lbs. Available in white only with a natural color solid hardwood top. Handles are nickel with a nice satin finish. Easy assembly required. Made in the USA.

To those who thought it was nearly impossible to put together.... it wasn't that hard. It took me about 45 minutes. So don't be scared off by those who added up all the little bits.I am happy that i bought it. The top is not varnished, but it is oiled. It is sturdy and rolls nicely, the wheels on one side can lock in place, which is nice. Mine is up against a wall so the little mini pantry and towel holder can't be used- as i expected and was fine with. It might make a good spice rack though- if you get the tall containers.My only issue is that it is a bit expensive to ship, but otherwise its a great item and adds a lot of surface space to my kitchen.

First: the biggest disappointment was that the top is not a stained top, just a solid, unfinished light wood when it arrived, which is ok, because I could sand it and stain it, but I expected the darker top as displayed in the picture.Otherwise, its really awesome -- I found that the paper towel holder was almost completely useless, but that wasn't too surprising. It did take quite a while to put together, but most of the pieces are marked, so after a little organization it became a lot more clear.I would not have been able to pick up the box, it was *very* heavy, but rolling it around on the casters is really easy. The shelves are a good size, perfect for my set of plates and some extras at the bottom. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to be able to use the small "pantry" shelves on the back of the trash bin. They're just too small for much of anything it seems.Overall, I'm totally satisfied, as I didn't find anything else that came close to meeting my requirements.

A bit difficult to assemble. I trashed the cheap roller feet and bought some nice wooden ball feet which I painted white. The butcher block top arrived rather bowed, but mysteriously straightened out once inside for a few days. The butcher block top is somewhat thin and skimpy - and required staining and varnish after assembly. We are somewhat disappointed because we could have bought a better table fully assembled at Target. The trash can hopper feature is nice, but we had to modify the holder slightly to allow it to close fully. Overall, we're happy but think we spent a much for this marginal product.
