Catskill Craftsmen manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily Northern Yellow Birch. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. This cart has a butcher block top with microwave shelf and an adjustable interior shelf. It has lots of drawer and cabinet storage. It has locking caster wheels and metal drawer glides. You can place the microwave on cart top or hutch top and has a nickle plated towel bar. It is made from sustainably harvested domestic wood, is ready to assemble and is made in the USA.

Catskill Craftsmen Deluxe Microwave CartSold by Amazon.com LLCI received this cart (Model 51537) in two heavy, well packed boxes. It has hard wood exactly where the description says and veneered wood exactly where it was described at the time I purchased it. I see at least one reviewer was surprised by the veneer. For some reason my order history is linked to model 51526 when I clearly purchased 51537 according to the dimensions and description - and I would not have paid the price for the 51526. Not sure where this review will end up, but I'll type it out anyway. You may want to visit Catskill's catskillcraftsmen dot com website for more information. Especially their "Care & Cleaning" link.The cart was very easy to assemble by following the very clear instructions. It /was/ short by three screws of one size and had multiple spares for several other sizes. Fortunately, I had spare screws in my garage that matched the missing screws. If you don't have a cache of spare screws handy, you may want to give yourself time to run to the hardware store.It is very sturdy and holds my microwave on the top shelf as well as my toaster oven/rotisserie on the table top - with plenty of ventilation all around. You can choose which side the towel rack goes on. I also placed a food-saver in the cabinet and drilled a hole through the back for the power cord. Since the cords on my appliances are so short, I mounted a power strip on the back for easy access - and only one item to unplug when I leave for extended periods (lots of electrical storms around here). The only improvement I can think of might be to add a nylon washer to the cabinet door bottom pegs. There is a slight creak of wood-on-wood while opening/closing the doors. It is not loud or obnoxious, but it is there. I haven't decide yet whether to live with it, see if it goes away, or disassemble and add a nylon washer. There is plenty of room for such a washer if you want to get a couple before hand.I expect this cart will last longer than I will and I am happy to recommend it. I'm just not sure which item my review will land on, 51526 or 51537 or ???. Just pay attention to the dimensions and the model number shown in the Product Details. Amazon carries both models.

I was thrilled with this and really enjoyed putting it together. And the finished product is gorgeous! Good quality. I had to reinforce the upper section, maybe I didn't tighten it enough when I did that part, because you build it upside down. And the drawer is a little small. But I would highly recommend this as a beautiful and useful addition to a kitchen or breakfast nook.

This is a well made, solid wood cabinet that shows fine craftsmanship. You need to have patience assembling it, but it is well worth the work from the quality to the look. It is even better than they said.
