Catskill Craftsmen has become the nation's leading manufacturer of ready-to-assemble domestic hardwood kitchen islands, carts, and work-centers. Catskill Craftsmen manufactured items are made from naturally self-sustaining, non-endangered North American hardwoods, primarily Northern Yellow Birch. Lumber is purchased from area sawmills, then dried, manufactured, and packaged on site. All sawdust, shavings and waste materials generated during the manufacturing process is converted into wood pellet fuel, and used to heat homes. This cart comes with a butcher block top, drawer, cabinet and open shelf storage. It has locking caster wheels and two nickel plated towel bars. The drawers have metal glides. It is made of sustainably harvested domestic hardwood, is readyy to assemble and is made in the USA.

This is exactly what I wanted! It took me a long time to assemble (8+ hours over 3 days) as I am not inclined for this type of assembly but the finished product is beautiful. Looks great in my kitchen.

This was the exact type of movable cart/ island I was looking for. It's great for when most of my counter space is taken up and I need a staging or prep area I can move around easily. The butcher block top is beautiful as well as the drawer and cabinet doors. It rolls smoothly and the caster locks are great for when you have to bear down on something.Assembly was a breeze with clear and concise directions. No more confusing than other assemble yourself products. Included in mine was an added bag of screws to address the issue of some of the screws not working with the drawers slides or towel bar. Please note that you have to build this cart upside down, so may want a hand when it comes time to flip it over.I've already purchased a butcher block cutting boar to go with this top as I don't want to mar it's beauty and plan on purchasing the microwave cupboard soon.

In case you are wondering, the little towel bar can be assembled on either side of the cart. I was planning to not install it because it wouldn't fit my kitchen nook on the left but the instructions very helpfully pointed out that the left and right panels could be interchanged. Yay!
