item arrived on time &intact. the island was easy to assembly since the base cabinet came intact & all that was needed was to attach the top, legs & movable shelves. material look to be made out of mainly real wood. there are some areas that look to be possible particle board but less than what i was expecting so i am happy. fyi it is very heavy will need @least 2people to move, etc.

This is a very sturdy piece of furniture, great value for the money. We had to wait a couple extra days for delivery but it was well worth it. When the top is not extended it is 42" L fully extended it is 66" L The color is buttermilk but it has a yellowish tint to it. It is still a nice color. The top does have a decrotative crack around the edge like my kitchen table which does collect food so I would suggest getting a piece of glass for it. It is on the bigger side, I would recommend this to anyone with an open concept floor plan or a large kitchen

Very easy to set up, but you will need assistance. This island is very sturdy. Please measure your door entrance before ordering. I reside in a older home, where the doors are not large, nor was my kitchen entrance large. That was my fault, it was work but we got it into my house. Overall I enjoy my piece of furniture.
