We have a really small kitchen so I wasn't sure if this island would overpower the space but thankfully it was the perfect size. It rolls so we can use it as a buffet table when we have a dinner party. It has a really clean look and it's very pretty. Some of the things I didnt like about the island is that it smells REALLY bad at first. I wiped down the whole island twice with lysol wipes and the smell eventually went away. Also, we were missing about 4 peices (2 back of the drawer and one shelf) but we called the manufacturer and they sent it right away. They ship things really fast. Another thing is, the picture does not show the back of the island so we weren't sure if there was a lip where we could sit comfortably on stools. We wanted to use it as a breakfast table too. Sadly, it didn't and the edge of the countertop is flushed with the back of the island. Overall, we're still really happy with the way it looks and functionsEDIT REVIEW .EVERYTHING you put in there will smell like paint/plastic. I'm not sure what they used to paint it white but it smells SO BAD. I stored my expensive teas in the drawer and now it all smells and tastes like paint. it is horrible. I thought the smell would go away but it's been months since we purchased the island and it's still here. I have tried everything, wipes, cleaners, baking soda, nothing works. If anyone has a good solution for getting rid of the smell, please let me know.I gave this 2 stars instead of 1 because the top of the island is nice and it gives us extra counter space.

This piece was a great purchase. It is easy to put together and makes a great addition to kitchens in need of counter and storage space. The mani reason I am unable to give 5 stars...the inside smells terribly of wood stain. I cleaned it multiple times before putting my kitchen items inside, but now my pans and potholders smell, too! Other than that, I would recommend this to anyone.

This unit requires assembly. The tools it comes with works ok, but you may have better tools of your own. We used wood glue around the edges of the drawers for better rigidity. The instructions were pretty clear. It took about 1 to 1-1/2 hours to assemble.The quality was what we expected for the price. The body is not solid wood but veneer as advertised. The top is a thin piece of solid wood, sturdy enough for the use. The drawer glides are of good quality. The casters are adequate for the unit.Customer service was excellent. I had a question about shipping and received a prompt reply answering my question. It arrived earlier than expected in great condition.The finished product looks beautiful!
