Fabulous piece of furniture! Yes, it's true, you will need a second set of hands to put it together. The butcher block top by itself weighs about 45 pounds! The screws for the drawer handles are too short. But this is easily fixed by buying the next length of screw. This length is too long but if you put a washer or two on the screw before screwing it into the wood it works just fine. This is a beautiful and versatile piece in my kitchen. I love that I can easily roll it around to where I need it to be. The quality is great and the assembly instructions were spot on.

This way way more than I really wanted to pay but I am so glad I did. The quality of wood and craftsmanship is furniture quality and once I waxed it the color of the wood was truly gorgeous. I am leaving it a natural color but I think it would stain well if you wanted to match it to cabinets. Great company and its made here in the US.

This workcenter has become an excellent addition to our kitchen. We needed some additional cabinet space, had room for this workcenter, and this filled the bill. It took a little longer to assemble than I'd anticipated, but, it was well laid out, assembled solidly, plus, the butcherblock top is fabulous! (Treat the top with some mineral oil {from the pharmacy so it's USP grade} for additional water resistance.) I use it daily!
