Went together fast, rolls easily, and the drawer slides smoothly . Great assembly instructions, each piece packed separately and marked (in a hidden spot) for clarity. I'd have liked to have plugs for the holes for the handles since I am not using both of them, but that's really a nit. It looks terrific in my kitchen.

Assembly wasn't terrible. It is hard to get the sides of the cabinet to stay close to the shelf ends, but clamps help. If I had it to do over again, I would try to see if I could strap the entire thing tightly to help tighten and lessen any gaps. I also found that most parts needed to be glued (wood glue) to really stay properly. When I needed replacements for two small items that broke while assembling it, their customer service was excellent and quick.I love how this island looks in my kitchen. The size is really good, a lot better than I thought it would be. There is a lot of space in the base cabinet for the things I need to store there. Although I wish the drawer was a bit wider, it's not bad and if I look I can probably find organizers that would fit better than the ones I have right now. The main problem I have with this island is also with the drawer. When I put more than a few light things in the drawer (I bought the island so I could put my stainless steel everyday silverware in it since I didn't have any correct-sized drawers in the kitchen), the drawer dislodged and stuck tight. It seems the track it runs on is not heavy-duty enough to handle much weight. I am hoping to eventually find a better track to replace the one from the unit so that I can fully utilize the island's features. The locks on the wheels don't do a great job of keeping it from moving, but they aren't totally ineffective, so I won't replace them.

I really like my new stainless steel top portable kitchen cart. It matches my kitchen as if it was built at the same time. It is so convenient for me to use it as a work place and also storage. It adds a lovely decorator touch to my kitchen.My son-in-law put it together for me. I don't think I could have lifted it to do that. If you are a Sr. then have someone help you.
