I recently bought this exact same island at a local Millstores, (unfinished furniture outlet) and love it. It's very solid and comes in a few different colors. The butcher block top is very thick and of a good quality, and the legs and shelf are heavy and well made. The casters on it allow it to be rolled out of the way easily, or can be locked in place for a good solid surface to work on. I actually looked at a lot of islands, both here on Amazon and in the local stores. I was primarily looking for a rather compact chopping block style island that had either a granite or butcher block top, for I really only wanted one for chopping and preparing food, not storage. I very quickly came to realize that pretty much all islands are very expensive. I was fortunate to see this on Amazon and find it locally where I could really feel and evaluate its quality. The price locally was within $20 of the price on Amazon so I opted to pick it up at the store. If you cannot find it locally, the shipping charge for it here on Amazon is extremely reasonable for an item that weighs around 90 lbs.In conclusion, this island is not only quality built, handsome, and of a very accommodating size, but compared to many other islands is very reasonably priced. I love it and highly recommend it.. : )
