I love this table. I was looking for a workbench for my jewelry work. It is portable and sturdy enough to take the abuse of using tools.

This desk is well built and sturdy. Loved that it came straight out of the box ready for use and was exactly as described. A great addition to bedroom furniture and will be used as a student desk. It's compact so doesn't take up too much room and folds away in a flash for storage when not in use.

I LOVE this desk. It is sturdy, mobile (important for me), and provides sufficient space for my 15-inch laptop w/stand, Jawbone Big Jambox speaker, mouse/pad, phone, and still leaves a sufficient writing/hard copy document area--absolutely IDEAL for my needs. Not only that, the desk looks nice. No, it doesn't match my other decor, but I'm more interested in function than fashion when working.I work from home and am limited on space. My initial itent was to fold this desk every day and tuck it between a chair and the wall when finished with work. I don't do that for two reasons:1) To flip the desktop, I'd require more room space than I currently have. I can do it (obviously, because I'm using the desk), but doing so every day would require more moving other furniture around and would be a hassle. I researched the tables dimensions (desktop is 40 inches wide and 24 inches deep), but didn't really factor in the "flipping" requirement (doubling the necessary "depth" space).2) The desk works so well, I've made it a permanent fixture. This saves me time every morning vs. having to "set up" my desk. All I had to do was add a task light and, voila!, ideal workspace in place.One warning: The box the desk arrives in is very heavy; it's VERY well packaged and a slight, weak, or disabled person might need help with it. I'm disabled, but I managed to get the desk out of the box. But there was NO assembly. I just had to cut the binding straps on the desk, unfasten the latches, unfold the desk and "flip" the desktop. Assembly could not be easier!If you're wondering about the bottom shelf, it is sufficiently recessed so that it doesn't bang my legs. It holds a dictionary, along with pages once I finish editing them. The bottom shelf is a tad over 10 inches deep.I highly recommend this desk. It was VERY pricey, but was exactly what I needed, and I'm very satisfied with its construction, convenience, size, and versatility.
